Round 5 began with the dramatic final confrontation between Orange Crush and Reckoning in a battle for the National Championship! Back in August, #67 Elmer Fandrey delivered a monstrous into-the-wall smash on Reckoning's #7 Brian Anderson, but this time around Fandrey was one crushed into the wall. #78 Chris McGuire had Fandrey in his crosshairs and rocked the OC runner with a thunderous shot that sent both cars up onto two wheels! A decisive blow that emphatically led to Reckoning's clinch of the National Championship. Next, Damage Inc. had not made their way into a Hit of the Month video all season and it took a rookie in his first race ever to end the streak. #83 Kyle Thompson pounded Stranglehold with multiple hits, none bigger and more important that the T-bone blast on #50 Bill Mcmahan. #86 Dave Swan reversed into Mcmahan causing him to spin sideways out of Turn 2. Mcmahan got the car pointed in the right direction, but left wide himself open for Thompson to come screaming across mid-field and nail him into the wall. All 3 cameras caught Thompson's thrashing of Mcmahan and you can see all the races with 3 angles of impact on the complete Round 5 DVD that is available now!

The toughest choice we've ever had to make for a Hit of the Month and even only including two doesn't do the entire Round 3 event justice! It was brutal from start to finish and these Hits of the Month are only a fraction of the carnage! First, #13 Ryan Decker lays waste to #38 Kyle Shearer right after Shearer took out Decker's team mate #17 Gerritt Vanderbilt. The nasty side-smash totaled Shearer's car, but Decker was able to recover, deal out more hits, and run the laps for the win! Then in the Final Round, Stranglehold battled Reckoning in the most frantic frezy of a Final we've seen in quite some time. Knockout shots all over the track and the biggest one was a tag team effort by Reckoning's #7 Brian Anderson and #72 Steve Gursky, Sr. The duo dealt a head-on hit and trunk shot at nearly the exact same moment on #56 Wally Hartung that completely folded up the car! A twisted wreck that left all 3 cars in a mangled mess. Reckoning needed to stop Hartung's rampage; they did and won! |

A double-dose of destruction from Round 2 on June 18th! First, #76 Steve Gursky, Jr. flew around Turns 1 and 2, drifting his wagon flawlessley into both corners. #40 Ron Johnston waited for Gursky to exit Turn 2 and smacked the leader off his pace and into the wall. Then, Bad Company vs. Seek-N-Destroy was a near record breaking marathon race with #32 Matt Pierce and #20 Steve Schaefer right in the middle of it all. Pierce was in the lead and tried to complete his second lap when Schaefer delivered a full-track T-bone smash completely wrecking Pierce's running game...or so he thought!
