Championship History:
One of the most decorated and legendary names in Team Demolition Derby history, the Mean Green Machine have been Champions on 8 separate occasions; 7 at Sante Fe Speedway and once at Route 66: 1972-73, '83, '89-90, '93-94, '00. The re-debut of the Machine was a rough one in 2007, as the team finished 8th in points and did not improve much in 2008 even with several veteran drivers stepping in. For 2009, John Milette again looked to a younger core of drivers looking to re-establish the Mean Green Machine name, but remained winless until the final night, finally breaking thru to the semi-finals after a big assistance from Art Scarbro, Rich Wilson and others.
This year, the persistant and dedicated Van Allen brothers take the reigns of MGM, along with young gun John Clemmons, ready to make a stand against the powerhouse teams and put their name and MGM's back at the top!
