Pre-2010 Championship History:
Originally assembled by Mark Ziesmer & Chris Cruver in 2003, the Junk Yard Dogs won the National Championship their inaugural season. The team consisted of Ziesmer, Cruver, Ed "Booger" Walker, James Walker, Charlie "Sarge" Turnbaugh, Rob McKay, Dan McKay, Ed Walker Sr., Gerald Russell
and Jason King.
JYD's star-studed driver lineup dominated in 2008, winning 4 out of 5 events and captured the National Championship for the second time at Route 66! For 2009, the champs look even stronger with the addition of known car-killerJoe Snow and rising star Kyle Shearer to the lineup. The road to back-to-back titles begins and they have 7 angry teams ready to chase them down.
